Which is the Best Smartphone?

Smartphone technology has improved by leaps and bounds over that last few years. Nearly all major carriers these days have cell phones that you can do more than just talk on. At&T (Formerly Singular) has a 'Palm Treo 680' that you can get free after instant discount and rebates with a two year agreement. T-mobile has the 'Dash' that you can also get for free with a new T-Mobile account after instant rebates. Sprint is now offering the same deal on their Motorola Q.


Just about any of the thousands of wireless phones currently available now offer the ability to browse the internet. But what sets smartphones apart is their ability to run third party programs, open and edit Microsoft documents (such as word and excel), and interact with your office email and calendar software. But the question is, "Which is the Best Smartphone?". If money is no object, then my favorite is probably the next generation Palm Treo 700p, offered by Verizon Wireless. It run on Palm OS 5.4 with an Intel 312Mhz XScale Processor. It offers near broadband download speeds, a built in media player, wireless synchronization with your email, calendar and contacts. Emailing on this bad boy is easy with a full qwerty backlit keyboard.
